The Taxila Museum Application will help you take an incredible journey within the walls of the museum and beyond.

The application is developed by the Technology for People Initiative (TPI) team at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore Pakistan. The project was initiated and funded by UNESCO, Embassy of Switzerland and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Pakistan.

About Taxila Museum

Established during the early twentieth in a quaint building at the historic city of Taxila, Taxila Museum holds one of the most significant and comprehensive collections of stone and stucco sculptures from the Buddhist Art of the Gandhara Civilization. Situated in the middle of the numerous archaeological sites scattered around the city, the site museum boasts a rich collection of over 7000 artefacts - including sculptures, relic caskets, inscriptions, beads, jewellery, coins weapons and various other objects of daily use from thousands of years ago.
